The United Way of Odessa hosted its Women’s Empower Luncheon, brought together women from across the community for an afternoon focused on inspiration, networking, and empowerment. The event featured motivational guest speakers, a variety of shopping vendors showcasing local businesses, and a fashion show highlighting the latest styles while celebrating confidence, leadership, and community engagement.

“We are celebrating our annual Women United luncheon. So, what this is we hope to uplift women and empower women and just be a community and spread our mission.”
The goal of United Way is to empower women to create lasting, positive change in their lives and communities through financial stability, education, and entrepreneurship. By providing access to valuable resources, mentorship, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.

“We focus on financial stability, youth opportunity and healthy community. So, with our agencies, they’re the ones who are the boots on the ground. They reach out to those in need or those in need come reach out to them. So, we want to uplift women to be a part of the community and continue helping us out and our agencies out.”
