ODESSA, TEXAS/JANUARY 24, 2021-MEDICAL CENTER HOSPITAL, AND THE CITY OF ODESSA HELD THE LONG AWATED MASS VACCINATION EVENT AT RATLIFF STADIUM. IT WAS ESTIMATED THAT 2 THOUSAND VEHICLES WERE LINED UP DURING THE EARLY MORNING HOURS OF SUNDAY, JANUARY 24TH. PEOPLE WHO ARE PRE-REGISTED WERE ANXIOUSLY WAITING TO MOVE THROUGH THE LINE TO GET THE FIRST DOSE OF THE PFIZER VACCINE.

APPROXIMATELY 39 HUNDRED DOSES OF THE PFIZER VACCINE HAS BEEN MADE AVAILABLE TO MEDICAL CENTER FOR DISTRIBUTION TO ELIGIBLE PERSONS.

SAFETY IS TOP PRIORITY. ODESSA FIRE RESCUE AND MCH MEDICAL OFFICALS ADVISE NOT TO BRING PETS TO VACCINATION CENTER AT RATLIFF STADIUM, HAVE A FULL TANK OF GAS, AND GO TO THE BATHROOM BEFORE COMING TO THE SITE.
