All appointments scheduled at our Urgent Care clinics for COVID-19 vaccine booster shots are canceled from here on out. The hotline (640-2747) will be shut off and we will not be taking any more appointments. We’re asking the public to not call Midland Memorial for booster shots either as their vaccines are spoken for and have appointments set. Luckily, in the three days we were open at the clinics, we were able to administer more than 4,500 booster shots. However, this process will not be able to hold up due to the delays…as it would be nearly impossible to reschedule the thousands of appointments already made.
Therefore, we are once again venturing to Ratliff Stadium for a booster shot drive-thru clinic for the remaining people who got their first shot at Ratliff Stadium. This is ONLY for those people. People do NOT need to pre-register or set an appointment for the booster shot drive-thru. All they will need to bring is their vaccination card from the first shot at Ratliff. Below is the schedule for the booster drive-thru at Ratliff:

This will allow us to get the booster to the remaining 9,500 or so people that still need it from the first shot drive-thru’s at Ratliff Stadium. We would like to thank ECISD for allowing us these days, even though the West Texas Relays will be going on Thursday and Friday. We cannot thank them enough for their partnership through this.
We’ve had several people worried because this booster is after the recommended booster dates on their vaccination card. If you get these calls or concerns, please let them know it is OK to take the booster up to six weeks after the initial shot without having to start over.
