Odessa, Texas/August 9, 2021-On July 16, 2021, the Odessa Police Department was notified by the parents of Julie Hernandez, 16 years of age, who had left the residence without their consent. A runaway report was initiated and an investigation into her whereabouts had ensued.

Be aware that harboring a runaway is against the law and anyone found violating that law could face charges of Harboring a Runaway, Class A Misdemeanor, with a punishment of up to $4,000 and up to a year in jail.
