Odessa, Texas/August 11, 2021-The Odessa Hispanic Chamber of Commerce has dismissed Paul Garza, who was the current CEO/President of the Hispanic chamber.
Officials with the Odessa Hispanic Chamber of Commerce announced Tuesday, August 10th, that it had terminated Paul Garza from the position.
According to a press release, an audit of the operating account of the chamber found discrepancies. The ODC funded $50 thousand dollars to the Odessa Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in October of 2020.

Paul Garza had been previously accused of misappropriations of funds at another non-profit. Garza acknowledged the accusation during an Odessa Chamber of Commerce mixer in early 2021.

It is unknown if Paul Garza was properly vetted for the CEO/President position at the Odessa Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Garza was hired to the position in January 2021.
