Young Entrepreneur Showcases Organic Candles and Soaps at November’s First Friday Event
Odessa, Texas/November 10, 2025-A young entrepreneur named Victoria Boyer creates organic candles, soaps, and other natural products. She was inspired by her mother, Milka Montes-Boyer, a Professor of Chemistry at UT Permian Basin, who educated her on the potentially harmful chemicals found in many store-bought candles, soaps, air fresheners, and similar products.

Victoria uses many of the same natural ingredients in her candles and soaps that her mom, Milka, uses in the kitchen.
