Midland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce 38th Annual Mex Tex Family Fiesta

Midland, Texas/June 5, 2025-The Midland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce recently held their 38th annually Mex-Tex Family Fiesta.  

Over a thousand people attended the annual event. Visitors enjoyed events throughout the day that included healthcare booths, a variety of Permian Basin industry and vendors selling a wide selection of items

During the Mex-Tex Family Fiesta the traditional menudo cookoff was held, an art competition, dancers and other vendors selling exotic jewelry for women and men.

The Mex-Tex Family Fiesta ended with a concert from Tejano artists. It is estimated that this year’s event raised close to 90 thousand dollars. For DRB Media Communications, I’m Sophie Wagner. 

Midland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce 2nd Annual Business Expo at the Midland County Horseshoe

Midland, Texas/May 12, 2025-The Midland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce held their 2nd Annual Business Expo at the Midland County Horseshoe Pavillion. Approximately 100 businesses from the Midland and Odessa area and from across the state participated in the Expo.

The Business Expo featured workshops on various topics that included information from the Better Business Bureau, the importance of proper bookkeeping and new business strategies using AI technology.

The City of Midland Deputy City Manager Morris Williams presented a city proclamation recognizing the Midland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce 2nd Annual Business Expo and recognizing Savanah Morales, President and CEO of the Midland Hispanic Chamber for her continued effort in bringing small and startup businesses to the forefront.

Midland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce 1st Annual Business Expo at the Midland County Horeshoe Pavillion

Midland, Texas/April 21, 2024-The Midland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce held a Business Expo at the Horseshoe Pavillion. Nonprofit organizations and non-Hispanic chamber businesses provided information on products and services.

The business expo is an important component of the Midland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce to bring Hispanic owned businesses of all types into the mainstream of economic progress in Midland.

Midland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Provides First Micro Grant

Midland, Texas/February 7, 2024-Midland Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, through an Economic Development Program grant presented a check of $1,000 to Crystal Rodriguez Photography.
