The original building was a hospital built in 1927 and was the first high rise in West Texas. The property of the proposed hotel is owned by LSBrentway LLC, a local family with 25 years of business experience in West Texas. The design of the Tapestry Hotel will keep the building’s historical elements and connection to Midland, blending with contemporary edgy, upscale designs.
