Midland, Texas/January 31, 2022-On Monday, January 31st at approximately 4:30pm the funeral proceedings for Loving County Deputy Lorin M. Readmond passed through Midland at 1788 and I-20. The procession began in Lubbock and was heading to Pecos, Texas. Loving County Deputy Lorin M. Readmond was dispatched with her patrol vehicle with lights and siren activated to assist another deputy, when the fatal crash occurred 1 mile west of Mentone. Deputy Lorin M. Readmond was 41 years of age.
