Midland, Texas/July 22, 2022-The 2022 Texas Gubernatorial Democratic Nominee, Beto O’Rourke made a campaign stop at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center in Midland on Wednesday evening, July 20th. A large crowd came out to the center to support BETO and listen to his plans for Texas.

The Electric Reliability Council of Texas, known as ERCOT has residents of Texas concerned with the reliability of the power grid during record breaking heat and with extreme cold weather. Once elected, Beto O’Rourke plans to connect to the national grid.

Beto wants to work with state legislators, both Democrats and Republicans and use executive actions to focus on protecting the rights of women.

Beto O’Rourke said that Governor Abbot’s decision to sign permit less carry into law is causing crime to rise and an increase in violent crimes in cities, towns and municipalities.

Brock McNeel, a 16-year-old Beto supporter is concerned with laws being passed by State Legislators that oppress people in the State of Texas.

Midland, Texas/February 6, 2022-The Ector County Republican Womens Club and the Midland County Young Republicans recently hosted the Permian Basin Republican Gubernatorial and Attorney General Candidate Forum at The Wagner Noel Perfoming Arts Center. Candidates presented their solutions to issues that are affecting the state of Texas.

Candidates for Attorney General and Governor for Texas focused on the lack of Federal involvement of the Biden Administration regarding the boarder crisis.

Organizers were excited that the Permian Basin Republican Gubernatorial and Attorney General Candidate Forum was a success and hope that voters will research and find more information on the candidates voters want support.
