Odessa, Texas/April 4, 2024-Congressman August Pfluger, Texas 11th District hosted a Town Hall featuring Congressman Jim Jordon of Ohio 4th District on Wednesday, April 3rd at the Odessa Marriott Hotel and Convention Center. Congressman Pfluger and Chairman Jordan discussed their efforts to fight government corruption.

H.E.B Donates Sauces to Every Meals on Wheels of Odessa Clients

Odessa, Texas/January 21, 2024-Meals on Wheels of Odessa partnered with H.E.B. to provide sauces for seniors. 

H.E.B. donated 500 bottles each of ketchup, Mayonnaise, Bar-B-Que Sause, and other condiments.

H.E.B. donated time to help regular volunteers at Meals on Wheels of Odessa to get the products delivered.

West Texas Gifts of Hope Holds 4th Annual Paint the Park-DRB Media Communications Digital News

Odessa, Texas/September 25, 2022-Paint the Park held its 4th Annual Cancer Awareness event at Memorial Gardens Park. This community event offers support to those families who have lost loved ones to cancer.

The different color flags that are flying along parts of the pathway at Memorial Gardens Park represent the different types of cancer that some of the population in West Texas and the Permian Basin experiencing.

West Texas Gifts of Hope partners with Medical Center Health System, Texas Oncology, Texas Tech, ORMC, and with other nonprofit organizations to help cancer patients navigate to services and other resources. West Texas Gifts of Hope offers free lodging at HOPE HOUSE located at 700 W. 1st Street, to families who have loved ones going thru cancer treatment.

Paint the Basin featured a walk and run at Memorial Gardens Park. Odessa Police Department Chief Michael Gereke and Ector County Sheriff Mike Griffs honored those passed away from cancer and recognized cancer survivors during a special ceremony
