11th Annual Angel Driven Golf Tournament Benefit St Joseph and St Anthony Catholic Churches

Odessa, Texas/August 26, 2023-Golfers from around the Permian Basin came out Saturday morning, August 26th to support the 11th annual Angel Driven Golf Tournament. Funds raised from the tournament will go towards St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in south Odessa.

Approximately 35 teams and around 128 players took part in the Angel Driven Golf Tournament

This year the Angel Driven Golf Tournament has increased its sponsorship and hopes to also increase funds needed to help both south Odessa Catholic Church’s.

Annual YMCA Leaning Center Breakfast with the Grinch Fundraising Event

Odessa, Texas/December 10, 2022-The YMCA Learning Center in Odessa held its annual Breakfast with the Grinch fundraising event. The YMCA Learning Center has a Pre-K program, and is in partnership with Ector County ISD, focusing on early childhood and kindergarten readiness.

Families enjoyed a breakfast buffet that included pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and much more. MCM Elegant hosted the fundraising event that featured beautiful Christmas decorations.

The YMCA Learning Center is responsible for administration staff and teachers. The learning Center operates independently of ECISD.

DRB MEDIA COMMUNICATIONS DIGITAL NEWS(112821)-BCCPB 2ND ANNUAL TURKEY LEG TUSSLE DOMINO TOURNAMENT

Odessa, Texas/November 28, 2021-The Black Chamber of Commerce of the Permian Basin held the 2nd Annual Turkey Leg Tussel Domino Tournament. Approximately 20 competitors gathered at the activity hall at St. James Baptist Church in central Odessa.

The Black Chamber of Commerce of the Permian Basin associates with smaller non-profit organizations to help with financial assistance through fundraising events.

Domino players competed for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies. Competitors also received participation trophies.

The Turkey Leg Tussle Domino Tournament was able to raise $25 Hundred Dollars through domino table sponsorships for the Woodson Young Scholars Academy, that serves the southside community though daycare services for children 6 weeks to 5 years of age, including children 11 years of age.

The funds will also be used for upgrading the daycare, and acquire learning materials for enrichment programs at the Woodson Young Scholars Academy.
