Abell Junior High in Midland, Texas Hosts Robotics Tournament-DRB Media Communications Digital News

Midland, Texas/January 22, 2023-Abell Junior High School hosted the annual Region 18 robotics tournament. Students from 50 junior high schools from across the West Texas area competed in a variety of competitions.

This year’s competition included various challenges that measures creativity, ingenuity, speed and strategy. Teams were judged for a robotic product they invented for the competition.

DRB MEDIA COMMUNICATIONS DIGITAL NEWS(020722A)-2022 ROBOTICS SOUTH LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP AT UTPB

Odessa, Texas/February 7, 2022-On Saturday, February 5th, the University of Texas of the Permian Basin college of Engineering hosted the 2022 Robotics South League Championship. 38 teams and over 200 attendees that included students, instructor, parents watched the all-day competition.
