Odessa, Texas/May 4, 2022-Odessa Police Academy 24 held traffic control training at the intersection of Grant Street and 3rd Street. Recruits took turns directing traffic under the supervision of veteran Odessa Police officers.

Recruits practiced eye and hand coordination during heavy traffic. The recruits of OPA 24 will soon engage in professional driving and firearm training.

Odessa, Texas/May 1, 2022-Odessa Christian School held their yearly fundraising event on Saturday, April 30th called “Christian Shenanigans” at Jim Parker Park.

Odessa, Texas/May 1, 2022-The Odessa Family YMCA is celebrated its 30-year anniversary with the annual Healthy Kids Day. Kids and families came out to Mike Neely Park for fun and a wide variety of events for kids.

The Odessa Family YMCA is planning several events and activities for the month of May and thru the summer.

Midland, Texas/April 26, 2022-Midland Memorial Hospital hosted a carnival for healthcare heroes in the parking lot off of the Illinois street Entrance. The event was sponsored and made possible by the Abell-Hanger Foundation.
