Midland, Texas/January 5, 2023-On Monday, January 2nd 2023 a contractor working off of Highway 158 near Grasslands ruptured a waterline causing disruption of one of the City of Midland’s water sources. Later Monday evening, mechanical and Operator issues developed at the Midland Water Plant causing further disruptions.

The water is lake water and unclean for drinking, therefore the need for the boil water noticed issued by the City of Midland.

Dr. Whitney Craig of the Midland Health Department said that water for food and drinks need to be boiled. Restaurants and business that utilize water in their business activities need to close.

Midland Grand Jury Indict Former Administrators-DRB Media Communications Digital News

Midland, Texas/November 11, 2022-The Grand Jury in Midland handed down indictments on three former Midland Christian School Administrators: Jared Lee, former Superintendent, Dana Ellis, former Principal and Matthew Counts, Former Vice-Principal for the offense of FAILURE TO MAKE A REQUIRED CHILD ABUSE REPORT. 

The Grand Jury also handed down indictments on four Midland Trinity School Administrators: Adrianne Glifton, Chrystal Meyers, Shelby Hammer and Todd Freese, for the offense of FAILURE TO MAKE A REQUIRED CHILD ABUSE REPORT. 

Midland law enforcement indicated that all seven administrators were re-arrested following the indictments.

Big Texas Rally For Recovery/Thriving United-DRB Media Communications Digital News

Midland, Texas/September 26, 2022-The month of September is National Recovery Month and is celebrated internationally on September 30th.  

Thriving United, a non-profit organization celebrating its 3rd year serving the Midland Community and helping those with various type of addictions find a road to recovery.

On Saturday, September 24th THRIVING UNITED along with various non-profit organizations invited the community to join the Big Texas Rally for Recovery in Midland and honor those in addiction or mental health that are on their way to recovery.

Representatives with Thriving United responded to the need in the community for people seeking recovery, especially single mothers needing a place stay and get resources to get them back on their feet

Midland, Texas/August 12, 2022-On Friday, August 12th, Jenny Cudd and some local residents held an anti-FBI protest at the Lone Star Bank Build on North Big Spring St., in Midland, where the FBI and other federal agencies are located. Jenny Cudd said that the purpose of the protest is to bring awareness and education of what the FBI has and hasn’t done.

The protest organizer claims that the property owners and property management chose to close the bank building due to protesting on the sidewalk near the Lone Star Bank Building.

Jenny Cudd was convicted of a Class A Federal Misdeanor for trespassing at the U.S. Capitol on January 6th. She said that the conviction would not quiet her voice.

Spectators witnessing the protest, commented that the protesters were behaving as if in a cult and following a false messiah.
