Odessa, Texas/September 4, 2024-The Odessa Police Department invites the public for National Night Out 2024 on October 1st. Register your block, church or apartment complex for a night of fun and food for the entire family.

Odessa Police Officers, Odessa Fire Rescue interact with the community at the block parties to bridge the gap between residents and first responders. And National Night Out is a great way for neighbors to get to know their neighbors.

BRIGHT STAR MEMORIAL DEDICATION CEREMONY

Odessa, Texas/September 2, 2024-On Thursday, August 29th, a special dedication ceremony of the Bright Star Memborial was held at the UTPB Sports Fields on the UT Permian Basin Campus in honor of the August 31st, 2019 shooting victims.

Earlier in the week, The Odessa Parks and Recreation Department placed the Yellow Flags with the names of the victims of the August 31st 2019 shooting and the Odessa Strong banner at Memorial Gardens.

Members of LULAC, Hispanic Heritage of Odessa the Black Cultural Council of Odessa along with residents of the southside came to support Eddie Mitchell

Odessa, Texas/August 28, 2024-The Odessa Chamber of Commerce celebrated the return of LEADERSHIP ODESSA ALUMNI. The Alumni program welcomed all former graduates at a special reception held at the chamber office. The Odessa Chamber of Commerce was one of the first chambers to establish the Leadership program in the late 70’s.
