Odessa, Texas/September7, 2022-La Margarita Mexican Food Restaurant hosted the 6th Annual First Responder Breakfast at La Margarita Fairgrounds. The Odessa Police Department, Odessa Fire Rescue and other first responder agencies enjoyed a wide selections of breakfast items.

During the 86th Texas Legislative Session, lawmakers passed House Bill 1090, Which changes the definition of a first responder to include an emergency responder, operator or emergency services dispatcher, who provides communication support services.

Children enjoyed tasty frozen treats and played in the jumpers and cooled off sliding down the water slide.

Martin County, Texas/June 13, 2022-On Wednesday, June 8th 2022, at 11:47 P.M. A 2005 Yamaha Motorcycle, operated by Andrew Wade Hendriex 23-years-of-age, was traveling northbound on FM 1208 at mile marker 312 in Martin County. The 2005 Yamaha motorcycle traveled into a curve in the roadway and the operator of the motorcycle lost control. The operator came off the motorcycle and struck the pole. Hendriex was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital and was pronounced deceased by Dr. Timothy Gutierrez.

DRB MEDIA COMMUNICATIONS DIGITAL NEWS(061322)-FATAL VEHICLE CRASH IN MARTIN COUNTY, TEXAS

Martin County, Texas/June 13, 2022-On Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 2:11 p.m., a 2007 a Nissan Altima operated by Gabriel Lopez, 41 years-of-age of Odessa was traveling south on FM 829 in Martin County, and disregarded the stop sign at the intersection of SH 176, entered the intersection and was struck by a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado, operated by William Scott Hagee, 75 years-of-age of Midland. 

Gabriel Lopez was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries sustained in the crash. Lopez was pronounced deceased by Dr. Gutierrez. 

William Scott Hagee was transported to Midland Memorial Hospital, where he was treated and released.
