Odessa Police and Detectives Searching For William Earl Crayton Jr.-DRB Media Communications Digital News

Odessa, Texas/November 4, 2022-On November 04, 2022, the Odessa Police Department and Odessa Fire Rescue responded to a Major Crash at 1025 W Monahans. Officers found a man suffering from severe injuries. During the investigation, officers determined that this was not a traffic crash and is being investigated as an intentional criminal act. The officers determined that a known suspect intentionally used a vehicle to commit an assault against the injured person and multiple people inside of the residence. The apartment was severely damaged during this incident. Following this assault, the suspect fled the scene and abandoned the vehicle. 

Officers and Detectives are currently searching for the suspect and the investigation is still very active. The Odessa Police Department has obtained several felony warrants for William Earl Crayton Jr.,31 years of age. If anyone has information regarding the whereabouts of Crayton, please contact the Odessa Police Department or Crime Stoppers.

Grand Open and Ribbion Cutting Ceremony of The Ronald McDonald Family Room at MMH

Midland, Texas/November 3, 2022-Midland Memorial Hospital and Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Southwest held the Grand Opening of the Ronald McDonald Family Room at MMH. Ronald McDonald House Charities have partnered with Midland Memorial Hospital to expand the outreach to Midland to serve more families and children.

The Ronald McDonald Family Room provides a short period of rest and relief for families of children undergoing medical treatment.

The Ronald McDonald Family room offers many of the comforts of home to help alleviate the anxiety of being in a hospital environment for families while remaining only a heartbeat away from their child.

UTPB First Annual STEAMFEST 2022-DRB Media Communications Digital News

Odessa, Texas/November 2, 2022-UT Permian Basin recently hosted the first annual STEAMFEST Event. STEAM is Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. Event organizers hope to get local students excited about the STEAM Program at an early age.

The Science Technology Building at UTPB was filled various display tables that included Chemistry, Biology and Geo-Sciences that attracted kids and parents.

Odessa, Texas/November 1, 2022-UT Permian Basin held its Fith Annual Halloween Conference called Children of the Moon: Werewolves, Shape Shifter in Global Lore and Literature. The Halloween Conference featured discussion from presenters from across the globe.

Odessa, Texas/October 31, 2022-Odessa Fire Rescue and the Odessa Police Department held their annual Trunk or Treat event at the Centeral Fire Station. Mom and Dad’s brought their little ones to get candy from fire fighters and OPD Officers.

Midland, Texas/October 31, 2022-The Midland County Sheriff’s Office held its 3rd Annual Free Big Sky Halloween Drive-In Movie Bash. Visitors received a “goodiebag” with candy, colors and coloring books for kids and other information.

Visitors had an opportunity to visit the concessions area for a wide variety of eats and treats. Several non-profit organizations were at the movie bash giving out teddy bears, and other important information on community services.
